Other Online Casino Games
So I was all into online slots, checking them all out, playing some more and some less. I realized that I’d been missing out, and wondered what else I’d been missing out on.
I have a friend who is all into blackjack. He tells me that you can reduce the house edge, and I nod as if I know what he’s talking about. All I get from it is that you can actually win more often at blackjack if you know what you’re doing. I don’t know what I’m doing, but I ended up winning a few times anyway. Not bad, maybe I’ll work on myskills a little and come back someday. At an online casino USA, there’s too many great games to waste much time.
I moved on to craps, mainly because the name makes me laugh. So sue me, I have an immature sense of humor. Anyway, I always wanted to try craps but there was always a big crowd and I never really understood what the heck was going on (and I’m sure as heck never going to ask for directions…because I’m a guy).
So craps was fun, even if I had absolutely no idea what was going on. But the cool thing is that there are no crowds online — just you and the table. By the time I was ready to move on, I already knew ten times as much as I had a few minutes before (and nobody make a joke abut ten times zero being zero).
Well, the next obvious step from online slots was video poker. Turned out to be a pretty good move, too, because video poker is kind like slots but gives you a little more control over what happens next. If you’re not familiar, what happens is you’re dealt five cards and you get to keep as many or a s few as you like. So when the missing cards are replaced, you could have a good hand.
Not me. I had no luck for the longest time. I kept missing out on that straight or that flush by just one card…and all I ever really won was on a pair (of Jacks or Better, just like the name of the game) which was just enough to pay for the next game but nothing more. Finally, I was like “okay, how about some real poker instead…”
